Little Rock Housing Authority Board of Commissioners

The Little Rock Housing Authority Board of Commissioners was created by Resolution No.1,532 (October 5,1940). Each of the Commission's five (5) members serve five (5)-year terms. The role of the Housing Authority is to provide the minimum housing needs (decent, safe and sanitary) of low-income families through public housing and the Section 8 Rental Assistance Payments Program.

TERM: Five (5) Years
MEMBERS: Five (5)
DUTIES: The role of the Housing Authority is to provide the minimum housing needs (decent, safe, and sanitary) of low-income families through public housing and the Section 8 Rental Assistance Payments Program.
SELECTION: Vacancies are filled by recommendations from the remaining Commissioners. The Little Rock City Board of Directors approves the recommendation(s) and appoints members to the Housing Authority Board.

The Little Rock Housing Authority Board meets the third Thursday of each month at 1:00 p.m. in the Housing Authority Administrative Office at 100 South Arch Street, Little Rock, AR.
