Little Rock CARES
Supporting Our Neighbors in Times of Need
The City of Little Rock invites residents to make a tax-deductible donation to the Little Rock CARES Emergency Fund to assist vulnerable residents impacted by the ongoing federal government furlough and the freeze on SNAP benefits.
Your contribution will help provide groceries and essential supplies to Little Rock families facing food insecurity and financial hardship during this critical time. All donations are used to directly support residents in need.
How Your Donation Helps
Funds collected through Little Rock CARES will be used to purchase grocery gift cards distributed to residents who show proof of SNAP eligibility and need assistance due to the federal government shutdown.
Community Partners Making an Impact
This effort is made possible through the collaboration of dedicated community partners, including:
- Edwards Food Giant – providing discounted grocery cards for purchase and donation
- Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance – supporting food access and outreach
- Arkansas Food Bank – assisting with resource coordination and awareness
- Little Rock School District – connecting families in need through school-based outreach
- City of Little Rock Food Commission – coordinating local restaurant engagement and resource distribution
Local restaurateurs have also joined the effort, offering discounts to patrons who donate a gift card while dining at their establishments.
Restaurants Participating in the Community Grocery Fund
The following local restaurants are currently participating in the Community Grocery Fund, supporting residents through donations and customer engagement incentives:
