On March 3, the City is inviting information junkies to stop by the Southwest Community Center Saturday, March 3 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for Little Rock Open Data Day to learn about all the information available with just a few clicks including data on:
- The number of potholes in an area
- The frequency and type of code violations for different parts of the city
- What planning permits have been issued
- Police activity in any City neighborhood
College and high school students as well as members of the media and general public are invited to come learn how to use the City of Little Rock’s Open Data, Citizen Connect and Mapping Application sites through hands-on learning activities.

International Open Data Day is an annual celebration where groups from around the world create local events on the day to show the benefits of open data and encourage its use in government, business and civil society.
