Details

The City of Little Rock is resurfacing Pleasant Forest Dr. from N. Rodney Parham Rd. to Hinson Rd. and is considering including bike lanes in the street design. Pleasant Forest residents have cited high vehicular speeds as their primary concern for their street and the addition of six traffic calming structures have not completely addressed this concern. Adding bike lanes as a traffic calming measure would increase neighborhood safety by slowing vehicles and creating a buffer between vehicular lanes and residential lawns and properties.  See more here: https://www.littlerock.gov/for-residents/bikeped-little-rock/projects/pleasant-forest/. 

Representatives from Public Works Department Administration and Traffic Engineering Divisions will be present to discuss the project and to receive public input.
