Administrative Division

The Administrative Division provides coordination and general support to all operations of the Little Rock Fire Department. The Division consists of four (4) personnel who each play a very important role in maintaining the performance level of the Department.

Within this Division lies the responsibility for payroll and leave use entry and oversight for the Department’s 415 personnel.  In addition, this Division oversees the acquisition, inventory, and distribution of equipment and supplies for the entire Department, as well as coordinating the Department’s information technology and communications needs.  The Administrative Division provides oversight of the maintenance and upkeep of all Fire Stations and Fire Department property.

The Administrative Division is overseen by Assistant Fire Chief Bob Hunthrop. Chief Hunthrop joined the Department in 1997 and while spending most of his career in fire operations has served in the Training Divisions as a Captain, and the Training Division Chief. He is state certified as a Fire Service Instructor and is a member of both the International Association of Fire Chiefs and the Arkansas Fire Chief’s Association.
