The City of Little Rock's CNG Fueling Station
The City of Little Rock opened its first compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station, located at 501 Ferry Street, in April 2014. The station provides CNG fueling services to the general public, public and private fleets and CLR units.
The CLR has invested over $1 million dollars into this project. Additional funding sources for the station include a $235,000 grant from the Arkansas Department of Energy Office and a $100,000 grant from Southwestern Energy.
It is the City’s goal to actively contribute to a greener community and provide cost effective methods for cutting the City’s fuel bill. The City takes pride in its ability to offer private citizens and fleets that travel in and through Little Rock this opportunity to cut fuel costs.
