Cardboard
Cardboard boxes can be recycled in your cart. Boxes must fit inside the recycling cart with the lid closed. Break them down by cutting, tearing, or simply folding them flat to fit inside the cart. You do not have to remove the tape unless there is an excessive amount of tape (3 or more layers of tape).
Cardboard can also be picked up weekly along with your yard waste, the day after your scheduled trash pick up. Leave any cardboard boxes on the curb by 7 a.m. the day after your trash collection for yard waste crews to pick up.
