Make Connections

Little Rock has a community of bicycle advocates.  Pedestrian advocacy has not been as strong a voice to date, but a Complete Streets advocacy group (including pedestrian concerns) may be forming soon.  Little Rock also has a full-time Bicycle and Pedestrian Coordinator whose job is to make Little Rock more bicycle- and pedestrian-friendly.  Your unique voice and energy will strengthen and diversify BikePed advocacy in our community, but the experience of advocates who have been working for BikePed-friendliness can help guide your efforts.  The knowledge of BikePed Little Rock, who has the advantage of being able to focus on Little Rock bicycle and pedestrian issues for 40 hours a week, can help inform your efforts.  Making connections with like-minded fellow residents can bring you up to speed on current challenges and opportunities and what actions have and haven't worked in the past.  Click on the buttons below to learn more.
