Community Cooking
Community Cooking is a program designed to provide positive role models for today's youth through a semester long cooking class. Community Cooking accepts children ages sixteen (16) through eighteen (18); Community Cooking is an all-inclusive program, so anyone regardless of race or gender is welcome. The classes are held on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m. During this time, community members and officers, of the Little Rock Police Department, will work together with real chefs to cook and prepare a course for the day. Each session focuses on a different appetizer, entree, and dessert. The overall goal of Community Cooking is to bring the community, law enforcement, and local businesses and chefs together to prepare our youth for afitture of success.
