Frequently Asked Questions
What is a board or commission?
Boards and commissions are groups of volunteers who help make Little Rock a better place to live, work, and play. They give advice to City leaders and staff, share ideas, help solve community problems, and make recommendations on important issues that affect residents. Serving on a board or commission is one of the best ways to get involved in local government and help shape the future of our city.
Why should I serve?
Serving on a board or commission is a great way to get involved in our community. You can share your ideas, help solve problems, and take part in decisions that affect our city.
