Airport Commission
The Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission was created by Arkansas Code Annotated 14-359-101 et. seq. – Little Rock City Code, Sec. 7-26 & 27. Its seven (7) members serve five (5)-year terms. The duties of the Commission are to manage, operate, extend and maintain the Bill & Hillary Clinton National Airport, related properties and facilities and adopt such rules and regulations as deemed necessary. Members of the commission are appointed by the Little Rock City Board of Directors. The seven (7) members must be qualified electors of the municipality with at least one (1) of the members being experienced in aviation, holding some type of pilot aeronautical rating.
