$20,000 Reward Offered after Child’s Shooting Death)

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (November 25, 2016) – A reward of $20,000 is being offered for the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the shooting death of a 2-year-old on Nov. 22.

An anonymous donor gave $10,000 for the reward, which will be supplemented by another $10,000 by the City of Little Rock.

The child, who was a passenger along with her mother in a vehicle driving on South Harrison Street, was transported to UAMS, where she later died from her injuries.

“The City of Little Rock is grateful for this donation and we felt it was important to match it,” City Manager Bruce T. Moore said. “It is imperative the individual(s) be arrested, and we appreciate the community’s assistance.”

At this time the motive for the shooting is not known, and the investigation is ongoing. To submit a crime tip, call 501-371-INFO (4636) or 501-340-8477.
