Asher and Madison Traffic Collision)

12th Street and Southwest Patrol Officers were called to a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision near the intersection of Asher and Madison on March 26, 2023. When officers arrived, they found an unresponsive black female lying in the street. MEMS arrived and transported the pedestrian to a local hospital where she later died from her injuries. The Pulaski County Coroner’s Office responded to the hospital and transported the body to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for positive identification.

Patrol supervisors initiated a reconstruction call-out. Accident Reconstruction Officers responded to the scene and took measurements and photographs. The driver of the vehicle, Mr. Christopher Robey, was transported to the 12th Street Station where he provided a urine sample for toxicology testing in accordance with the law. At this point in the investigation, no charges have been filed pending a comprehensive review. This investigation is ongoing and next of kin was notified.

 

#Update: The pedestrian has been identified as Ms. Juanita Greene of North Little Rock.
