City announces public forum dates for Police Chief candidates

Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott, Jr. announced this week the dates for public forums where residents can meet the top four candidates being considered to lead the Little Rock Police Department.

During the forums, community members will hear from each candidate and have an opportunity to ask the candidate questions. Each forum will be held from 6-8 p.m. in the Kendall Nugent Center at Philander Smith College, 900 W Daisy L. Gatson Bates Dr.

In chronological order, the forum dates are:

  • Monday February 25,
    • Commander Todd Chamberlain (ret.), City of Los Angeles Police Department
  • Thursday February 28
    • Assistant Chief Hayward Finks, City of Little Rock Police Department
  • Monday March 4
    • Chief Keith Humphrey, City of Norman (OK) Police Department
  • Wednesday March 6
    • Assistant Chief Alice Fulk, City of Little Rock Police Department

“These four emerged as the most outstanding candidates to lead our police department,” Scott said. “I look forward to learning more about them and I look forward to the public interaction during these forums.”
