City to Offer Relocation Assistance to Big Country Chateau Tenants

LITTLE ROCK – On Feb. 7, the City of Little Rock’s Department of Housing and Neighborhood Programs led an inspection of Big Country Chateau Apartment Complex located at 6200 Colonel Glenn Rd. The inspection identified 81 units that were occupied by authorized tenants.

In an effort to support tenants at Big Country Chateau, the City of Little Rock will be offering relocation assistance. The Department of Housing and Neighborhood Programs will be in contact with tenants to coordinate assistance.

“Ensuring safe, healthy and habitable housing for all residents is a priority for the City of Little Rock,” Mayor Frank Scott, Jr. said. “We will continue to work with the City Attorney, Department of Housing and Neighborhood Programs, other city staff, the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office and community partners to address the emergency situation at Big Country Chateau.”
