LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (October 7, 2016) – A job fair for the Little Rock Police Department and Fire Department will take place Thursday, Oct. 13, from 6 – 9 p.m. at Southwest Community Center. 

The departments are looking to recruit more bilingual candidates to fill positions as 9-1-1 call-takers and dispatchers, and enter the police force as patrol officers or the fire department as firefighters. Bilingual pay is available to qualified candidates. Officers will be on hand at the job fair to answer questions.

Recruiting officers will be attending the Latino Health Fair, also at Southwest Community Center, which will take place from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15. 

Both fairs are free and open to the public. Southwest Community Center is located at 6401 Baseline Road.
