On August 1^st, 2022, at 10:34 PM, officers in the Northwest Patrol Division responded to a pedestrian-involved traffic collision at 11301 Financial Center Parkway. When officers arrived, they found a white female lying in the westbound lane suffering from multiple injuries. Medical personnel was requested and later pronounced the victim deceased on the scene.

During the preliminary stages of the investigation, it was determined the victim was struck by a vehicle that left the scene of the collision. The victim was also struck by a vehicle that was attempting to avoid the body lying in the roadway.

Accident Reconstruction Officers along with Hit and Run Investigators responded to process the scene and take measurements for their investigation. This investigation is ongoing and no citations have been issued pending a comprehensive review. The next of kin has not been identified, therefore the victim’s name is not being released at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
