Little Rock Police Officers responded to the intersection of 16^th and Peyton Street for a traffic collision involving a Little Rock School District bus and a motorcycle. When officers arrived, they discovered the operator of the motorcycle, 30-year-old Nicklaus Bosley, lying face down by the bus unresponsive. MEMS transported Mr. Bosley to UAMS where he later succumbed to his injuries. The school bus was driven by 66-year-old Shannon Henderson and had numerous passengers inside. Ms. Henderson was later taken to the 12th Street Station where she provided a urine sample in accordance with state law.

Patrol supervisors responded and notified the reconstruction unit who responded to process the scene and take photographs, collect evidence, take measurements, and notify the next of kin. At this point in the investigation, no charges have been filed pending a comprehensive review. This investigation is ongoing.
