Food Desert Task Force to Meet Wednesday, Feb. 8

LITTLE ROCK – The City of Little Rock’s Food Desert Task Force will hold its first meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 8 a.m. at Willie Hinton Neighborhood Resource Center, 3805 W. 12th St.

The task force was announced by Mayor Frank Scott, Jr. on Jan. 26. Chaired by Vice Mayor Kathy Webb, the group will focus on tangible ways to eliminate food deserts in Little Rock.
