HOW LONG HAVE YOU WORKED FOR THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK? 17 years

WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR JOB? As a police officer we keep the peace. Every day it is our duty to make a difference in the city by each and every contact we have with the community. Making sure these contacts are positive contacts has a huge impact on the many bias the public has with the police. The unit I am assigned to is Public Affairs. We are the voice and stream on information between the police department and the public. Many of these means are the media and social media as well as public meetings. 

WHAT IS THE MOST MEANINGFUL PART OF YOUR WORK? In the unit I am assigned to we are able to educate the public through Crime Prevention measures, which ultimately is how to prevent crime.

WHAT IS A FACT ABOUT YOU THAT MIGHT SURPRISE PEOPLE? I was almost kidnapped when I was 6 years old. I took martial arts for over 20 years and have a fourth degree black belt in taekwondo.

WHAT IS DOWNTIME FOR YOU? I have a lovely dog. She keeps me busy with walks and I also enjoy running. The lake is always a favorite too!
