Little Rock Welcomes Olympian Home to Central Arkansas)

WHAT:                    The City of Little Rock will hold a special celebration to welcome home Olympian and Central Arkansas native Jeff Henderson.

WHO:                       Olympian Jeff Henderson, City Manager Bruce T. Moore, USATF/AAU Coach Walter Harris, USATF member/former coach/City employee Lottie Keaton, City employees, family and friends 

WHERE:                  Little Rock City Hall

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The City of Little Rock is holding a special celebration to welcome home Olympic gold medalist Jeff Henderson.

Henderson, whose long jump earned him the gold medal in Rio de Janeiro last week, will be honored with a plaque presented by City Manager Bruce T. Moore, Coach Walter Harris, and Lottie Keaton, a City employee and longtime family friend. 

Four Little Rock School District students will also take part in the ceremony.
