Just after 2:00 a.m., on September 17, 2023, Three (3) LRPD Officers, Brad Stewart, Lee Pitts, Justin Sims  were working in a off-duty capacity at 7200 Colonel Glenn Road when contact was made with Amber Williams, of Little Rock, who was denied re-entry into the establishment due to a disturbance. The officers escorted Ms. Williams to the parking lot where she engaged in an interaction with Officer Stewart who then deployed his OC Spray. Subsequently, Ms. Williams was transported to her place of residence by Officers Pitts and Sims.

At a later date, Ms. Williams filed a complaint against all officers which was investigated and forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.  Officer Stewart has since been charged with Assault in the 2nd degree and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On January 11, 2024, Officer Stewart responded to the 12th Street Substation where his warrant was served. Officer Stewart has been with the Little Rock Police Department since 2017.
