On Wednesday, October 12, 2022, Little Rock Police Officers responded to a shooting call for service at 4423 West 12th Street. Officers arrived and discovered two victims, Barry Campbell, 34, and Fredrick Jordan, 65, both of Little Rock suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Both were transported to an area hospital for further medical treatment. Mr. Campbell, would later succumbed to his injuries. The Coroner responded and transported Mr. Campbell’s body to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for autopsy. The next of kin was notified.

Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Search Unit were notified, responded, and began a preliminary investigation. Detectives canvassed the area for witnesses and surveillance. This investigation is ongoing and occurred in the 12th Street Division.
