Kicking Off 2026 In Our Parks
From fun in the snow, to exciting park improvements on the horizon, Little Rock Parks & Recreation is starting the new year strong!
While the colder months may slow things down a bit, our parks and facilities continue to bring people together. Whether you’re setting fitness goals for the year, cheering on marathon runners, or signing your child up for youth sports, our parks and facilities are here to support you every step of the way. As we move into 2026, we’re grateful for your continued support and engagement as we build a City in a Park together.
Disc Golf Coming to War Memorial Park
Disc golf continues to grow across Little Rock. On February 21, we will be hosting a pop-up disc golf event at War Memorial Park that will give players the chance to test a temporary course and share feedback that will help shape a permanent course. We plan to install the final course in early spring this year!
Facilities Ready to Help You Achieve Your Fitness Goals
Our community centers and recreation facilities offer year-round ways to stay active. From fitness rooms and walking tracks to group classes and aquatics, our facilities make it easier to keep moving. Check out our website for more information on which facility membership could be right for you!
Little Rock Marathon
Don’t miss your chance to be a part of this year’s Little Rock Marathon! Online registration closes on February 20, so register today for the 5k, 10k, half-marathon, or marathon!
Youth Co-Ed Soccer
Our youth co-ed soccer league will kick off in March! Games will be played both indoors and outdoors at Dunbar, Stephens, Southwest, and West Central Community Centers. Register by February 13!
