The 24th Annual Therapeutic Recreation Arts Festival is on May 1, 2026, from 10:00am-1:00pm at the AR State Fairgrounds Hall of Industry. This annual event is in celebration of therapeutic recreation and provides a unique opportunity for the community to engage with children with special needs in Little Rock and across Central Arkansas by providing make it take it craft projects, games, hands-on experiences, etc. for children that attend this free event. Booths are provided by organizations, agencies, and businesses that either provide services for the disability community or have an interest in being a part of their community as a whole. This is a great way for agencies to network and for teachers and families to learn more about services available for their children. The event will include numerous booths, a magician, a photo booth, arts and crafts, recreation activities, and a dance contest!
