History

Hanger Hill Park occupies 2.3 acres of gently-sloping land adjacent to a Little Rock Housing Authority project in the eastern part of the city. The park was developed in 1973 with funds made available through a 1965 bond issue. The name of the park refers to the surrounding land formation which has always been a prominent landmark within the community.
