Positive Prevention Programs: 3
- 25 youth logged 46,800+ hours of safe, structed activities
Financial Empowerment:
- 113 new banks accounts opened with First Convenience Bank partnership
"Get Real, Here is the Deal" Simulation:
- 175 interns, $10K+ in donated value from community partners
Youth Summer Workforce Institute:
- 80% completed the 6-week program; over half with perfect attendance
Career Climb - Advanced Manufacturing:
- First graduating class of 5 interns with OSHA & technical certifications
Summer Youth Employment Opportunity:
- 255 interns places across 92 worksites, supported by 300+ volunteers & 6 college mentors
Midnight Basketball:
- 400 youth participated over 8 weeks - zero incidents reported
5,000 youth & families in Parks programs
Youth Summer Camps:
- 923 youth enrolled across 6 centers & schools (up from 856 last year)
Swimming Lessons:
- 430 participants across locations (up from 248 last year)
Museum Outreach:
- 1,694 students served through summer field trips (10% growth)
Track & Field:
- 112 youth track & field participants (200% growth)
Outdoor Recreation:
- 1,357 participants enjoying biking, fishing, archery, & more (447% increase)
Crime decreased by 19% compared to the last 5 summers
Youth Summer Camp:
- 58 pre-teens (ages 10-12) + 4 peer counselors
G.E.M.S. (Girls Empowered by Mentoring Sisterhood):
- 50 young women ages 10-18 building confidence, life skills, & leadership
S.O.S. (Saving Our Sons):
- 53 young men connected with mentors, life skills training & positive police relationships
Real Time Crime Center (May-Aug):
- Real-Time Assists, 464 incidents where personnel quickly resolved the case
