CONTEST GUIDELINES

Any student at a Little Rock school who is currently enrolled in kindergarten through 12th grade can enter.
The top winning artists in each grade category (elementary, middle, high school) will receive a cash prize, a trophy, and a certificate. Artwork will be displayed in the center for up to a year and then be returned to artist.

Submission deadline: Submit your submission form to West Central Community Center as soon as you can. The artwork deadline is April 26, 2019.

Type of art: Two-dimensional art creations of watercolor, acrylic, oil, charcoal, etc., are welcome. Digital computer art and photography are also allowed.

The dimensions of the art should be no more than 20" x 24" and no less than 8.5" x 11".

Concept should be inspired by the programs and activities at the new West Central Community Center: Community, Sports, Radio, Youth, and Seniors.

The art submitted needs to be mounted on a mat of paper material but must not be hard-framed.

Participants may pick up and return submission forms at West Central Community Center, 4521 John Barrow Road. Forms are due by April 19. Judging takes place from May 1-3 with an awards ceremony on May 4, at 10 a.m. at the community center. Winners must be present to receive the prize.

Only one entry per artist.
