Citizens Fire Academy

Step behind the scenes with our Citizens Fire Academy, a hands-on, eye-opening experience that brings you face-to-face with the world of fire and emergency services. Citizens Fire Academy is a free, interactive program designed to educate and engage community members. Participants learn directly from firefighters through classroom sessions, live demonstrations, and hands-on activities that showcase the skills, tools, and teamwork behind every emergency response. Participants get the opportunity to try on real turnout gear, operate fire hoses, get a station and fire truck tour, climb our 100ft ladder, rappel, navigate our smoke house, and more! Participants should wear comfortable clothes. MUST wear tennis shoes.
