The City of Little Rock will conduct a Community Engagement Meeting on Monday, January 26, 2026, at CALS Main Library (Darragh Center – 5th Floor), 100 Rock Street, Little Rock, AR, from 4:30–6:30 p.m. to provide an opportunity for public input on the I-30 Deck Park Planning Study. The purpose of this meeting is to introduce the concept of a Deck Park between 6th and 9th streets in Little Rock, Arkansas, outline the schedule of the planning study, and present strategies to align with city plans and programming.
The intention of this study is to gather public input, assess community needs, and develop and evaluate feasible concepts for the deck park. The potential benefits of the I-30 Deck Park include reconnecting the east and west sides of Little Rock, providing a safe and desirable pedestrian/bicycle crossing and a gathering place that would help rejoin the community.
This meeting will be held open-forum style with no formal presentations. Interested citizens are invited to attend the meeting during the scheduled hours to view the exhibits, ask questions, and provide comments on the study.
