Flood Information

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) periodically updates their Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs). A FIRM shows Special Flood Hazard Areas (SFHA) or areas of 1% annual chance of flood risk. Rock Creek, Gassy Flat, Colony West Branch and Capitol Drain have been restudied and the new FIRMs are effective as of June 7, 2019. Several changes have been made to the previous maps, and these changes may affect the cost of flood insurance for property owners in the area. If your property has been included in these changes, you may wish to contact your insurance agent for more information about how this may impact your flood insurance policy. All map changes are view-able at: https://msc.fema.gov/fmcv and map changes for the City of Little Rock can also be viewed here:
