LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock residents can obtain city services, learn more about municipal government and participate in interactive games and activities Monday, May 5, at the City of Little Rock's Mobile City Hall.

Monday's Mobile City Hall is at Saint Mark Baptist Church, 5722 W. 12th St. The event starts at 5 p.m. with city departments offering a wide range of city services from police reports to building permits. This family-friendly event features recreational activities, displays of police, fire and sanitation vehicles, zoo animals, a food truck and more.

All three Little Rock District Courts (traffic, environmental and criminal) will be present to answer questions, collect fee payments and assist residents with court scheduling matters. Judge Herbert T. Wright, Jr., (traffic court) and Judge Mark Leverett (environmental court), will be present to address any outstanding warrants in traffic or environmental court, allowing residents to resolve outstanding warrants without fear of arrest.

In addition, the City's Human Resources Department will conduct "instant interviews" for a variety of available City job openings; the Little Rock 311 team will offer a workshop on how to use the 311 service and the app; and Mayor Frank Scott, Jr., will lead a community forum starting at 6 p.m. where he and leaders from every City department will provide updates and take resident questions.

"With our Mobile City Hall initiative, we are taking City services into the community and offering residents the ability to do city business and engage with our team members at their convenience, all under one roof," Mayor Scott said. "Come see us Monday at Saint Mark Baptist Church to learn more about what's going on in Arkansas's capital city and find out how City Hall is working every day to make Little Rock better and stronger."

At Mobile City Hall, residents may:

  • Obtain or file police reports
  • Pay District Court fines
  • Pay business license fees
  • Apply for City jobs with qualified applicants participating in "instant interviews"
  • Apply for building permits
  • Learn more about grant opportunities like Down Payment Assistance and Neighborhood Challenge
