City of Little Rock Public Relations (501) 371-6801
At 1:17 am Friday, December 26, 2025, a Southwest Patrol officer observed a vehicle traveling east on Asher Avenue at a high rate of speed and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. Once the emergency lights and sirens were engaged, the vehicle, driven by 20-year-old Kaleb Green, accelerated and eventually left the roadway at a curve and crashed into an electrical pole. The vehicle then rolled over and struck a building. Green and a juvenile passenger were transported to local hospitals. Both sustained critical injuries; however, the juvenile would later succumb to their injuries.
A patrol supervisor arrived on scene and notified Accident Reconstruction Officers who responded to process the scene, take photographs, collect evidence and take measurements. At this point in the investigation, the driver, who remains in critical condition, has been charged with 1st Degree Murder, 1st Degree Criminal Mischief, Fleeing, and Reckless Driving. The juvenile passenger’s next of kin was notified. This investigation is ongoing.
