September 24, 2017 / 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Details

A combination of national and local faith leaders will gather to lead an interfaith service. Participants will represent a broad spectrum of faith backgrounds. In addition, a community choir will provide some of the music for this program at Robinson Center Performance Hall.

Guests will hear a powerful message from keynote speaker Rev. Raphael G. Warnock, Ph.D, Senior Pastor of the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church, the spiritual home of the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Also during the service, there will be readings from the Bible, the Mishnah Sanhedrin and the Quran.

Rev. Clarence Thornton host of the J.C. Loves Morning Show on JoyNet Radio and KTHV anchor Dawn Scott will be master and mistress of ceremonies.

There are many things that unite our faith traditions. Music is certainly one of them. In addition to words of inspiration, there will be music to move you led by a community choir which led by Darius Nelson, Pastor of Music and Arts at St. Mark Baptist Church and Kyle Linson, Director of Music and Worship Arts at First United Methodist Church.
