As a result of the 2020 Census the City of Little Rock’s population grew to over 200,000 residents. This growth requires the City to redraw the seven ward boundaries to ensure equitable representation on the City Board of Directors.
On this page http://littlerock.gov/2020wards you will find new proposed boundaries. The City will solicit comments beginning November 12th thru December 6th.
In order to maintain equitable representation, each of the City’s wards must have approximately 28,941 residents, plus or minus 5%. The maps on this page were drawn to meet that requirement, while also creating wards that are also contiguous and inclusive.
