World Changers young adults are coming to Little Rock to help repair houses again this summer. Nationally, 19,000 teens will volunteer with World Changers this summer. Over 200 teens are expected to visit Little Rock during this summer to assist homeowners with painting and minor wood repair at twelve local work sites during July. Eligible homeowners applied in the fall of to be on this summer’s World Changers’ list. The homes must be owner-occupied, and the owner must be at least 62 years of age or disabled. There are also income guidelines for the program. World Changers works with the City’s Housing and Neighborhood Programs Department to identify the eligible homeowners. * Neighborhood residents, youth participants and City leaders will also be available for interviews following the press event.
