Downtown Master Plan Charrettes Planned for Next Week

LITTLE ROCK – Downtown Little Rock stakeholders and the community are invited to participate in one of four scheduled open house meetings next week as the City continues its Downtown Master Plan process.

The four focus area charrettes are:

  • Tuesday, Feb. 20, from noon until 1 p.m. at Arkansas Children's Hospital Children's Hall, 1000 Children's Way
  • Tuesday, Feb. 20, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Clinton Presidential Library, 1200 President Clinton Ave.
  • Wednesday, Feb. 21, from noon to 1 p.m., at the Downtown Little Rock Partnership Office, 512 Main St.
  • Wednesday, Feb. 21, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Philander Smith University's Kendall Health and Science Center, 900 Daisy L. Gatson Bates Drive

The City is in the process of crafting its first-ever Downtown Master Plan, working alongside Downtown Little Rock Partnership and the consulting firm Sasaki. The plan will be offer a vision and blueprint for how to grow and invest in Downtown for years to come.

The charrettes on Tuesday and Wednesday will provide stakeholders and community members a chance to offer feedback and suggestions regarding several Downtown focus areas. All four open-house style meetings have the same format, so it's only necessary to attend one.
