On Tuesday, August 16, 2022, Little Rock Police Officers responded to the 7400 block of Scott Hamilton Drive in reference to a vehicle collision involving a car and a motorcycle. Upon arrival, officers discovered the driver of the motorcycle, Danny Jackson, had died at the scene. The driver of the car, Alexander Nelson, appeared to be in stable condition and refused medical treatment at the time. 

Reconstruction Officers and the Crime Scene Search Unit responded and began an investigation. They collected information and measurements from the incident.  Based on preliminary information, speed was a contributing factor in the accident. Mr. Nelson was transported to the Southwest sub-station where he was interview. Subsequently, the car and motorcycle were towed to the City Impound for further investigation. The next of kin was notified and the investigation into this collision is ongoing.
