[LITTLE ROCK, AR, May 25, 2021] – Due to the impact of COVID-19, the City of Little Rock will extend the dates of validity for Little Rock Identification Cards (LRID) that were issued in 2018 and will otherwise expire in 2021.

To receive this extension, LRID cardholders whose LRID will expire between July 1, 2021, and December 31, 2021, will need to provide proof of continued residence in the City of Little Rock before the expiration date listed on the cardholder’s LRID. This can be done by calling the Multicultural Liaison’s Office at (501) 565-7233 to schedule a time to present residency documentation, as indicated in the LRID Card Program Applicant Documentation Guide.

Upon confirmation of continued residency, the City of Little Rock will provide eligible cardholders with documentation that constitutes as proof of the extension of the validity of the LRID when presented concurrently with the LRID.

Once the City of Little Rock offices open to the public again, we will resume issuing LRIDs to new card holders. For questions or to schedule a time to present residency documentation for an extension, please contact the Office of the Multicultural Liaison at 501-565-7233.
