On October 3, 2022, the Little Rock Police Department was made aware Officer Terry McDaniel surrendered himself to the Benton Police Department, regarding an arrest warrant. Officer McDaniel was criminally charged after a recent investigation by the Benton Police Department. Prior to this arrest, Officer McDaniel was originally placed on administrative leave once the Little Rock Police Department administration learned of the allegations. Officer McDaniel has been with LRPD since January 2009. He will remain on leave pending an internal investigation.
